Miana, a member of an aboriginal tribe called the Houtua, rescues Haruo. The Houtua are the first humanoid beings the humans have encountered, and Haruo wonders if they are descendants of humans. The tribe explains that their god was destroyed by Godzilla, and all they have left are sacred eggs. Anyone who tried to resist Godzilla was destroyed by fire. Haruo sees this as their last hope of reclaiming Earth. Meanwhile, Bilusaludo commander Galu-gu is excited to learn that the Houtua tribe's arrowheads are made of a special nanometal. This material was developed in the 21st century as part of a weapon against Godzilla but was destroyed before it could be used.
