It also locates targets made of aluminum, brass and lead. The M97-11 features push-button tuning allowing quick and easy maintainance of the optimum sensitivity for easy pinpointing of buried metallic objects. The M97-11 also offers easy storage: just compact the lower stem, twist the search coil 90 degrees, and fold the search coil flat. The M97-11 fits easily into the optional carrying case. The M97-11 offers auto-tune circuitry and a waterproof search coil. This model identifies metallic objects by speaker sound and needle movement. Two sensitivity modes adjust for the depth and size of the object to locate. Normal mode eliminates distraction from small metallic items, while the high mode gives maximum sensitivity for deeper and smaller objects.
