This auction is for a Straight Shaft conversion for the CZ-20, CZ-21, and 1280x Metal Detector. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Mounting Bracket to mount main unit on original shaft, under your arm for better balance. Small oval grip cap (to replace big square mounting plate on top of grip) Stainless steel mounting hardware for bracket. Replacement stainless steel hardware for arm cuff (the original CZ hardware rusts) DOES NOT INCLUDE THE METAL DETECTOR IN THE PHOTO OR A NEW SHAFT. YOU USE THE ORIGINAL SHAFT. Description: Fisher makes a fantastic machine, but the CZ-21/20/1280 feels heavy in stock configuration. In the water, the position of the unit creates a large amount of drag. A chest or hip mount is ok, but the cable will eventually be damaged (which is not covered under warranty). Moving the unit under the elbow to will improve balance and reduce the water drag. With knobs mounted forward, the unit is upside down, and the disc knob is the closest knob, with volume underneath it. It just happens to work out perfectly to turn them with your left hand. You will be able to hunt all day without the incredible arm pain, it's really a huge improvement. This is an inexpensive and professional looking solution to upgrade the stock shaft to straight shaft configuration. Unit can be mounted with knobs to front or to the rear (I find forward best). I include a new grip cap so you can remove the ugly rectangular mount from the top of the grip but still have something to rest your hand against and keep the foam grip in place. I also include a new stainless steel screw for the arm cuff, because the original factory screw is not stainless and rusts. No modifications need to be made to your original shaft or grip. This just slides into place. You can return to stock configuration if you ever need to, just keep the old mounting plate. Please READ THE INSTRUCTIONS... you slide the CZ unit on to the bracket BEFORE tightening the mounting screws. As the screws are tightened, the bracket will change shape and lock itself into the unit. Made in USA ships from FL. WILL SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. Is it 3d printed and will it survive being in the sun? - Yes, it's 3d printed from ABS, making it very light and strong and it will not melt from the sun I broke my bracket :( - How!!?
