Toho Monster Netsuke Godzilla 1954 Wooden Tag & Box Description =>Size: Approximately 6cm This is the original Godzilla from the monster netsuke series that was made to order and sold by Chara-ani in 2014. It was released as the first monster netsuke. The asymmetrical creature-like form and the balance of deformation are exquisite, and the original Godzilla's monster-like fearsomeness is not lost. Early monster netsuke had a hole for threading a string so that it could be used as a netsuke. The original Godzilla has a hole in the side of the arm, so the design is not out of place. Comes with a wooden box and a wooden strap. After purchase, it was displayed in a glass case in a dark place with other monster netsuke. Very quick delivery from Japan to UK. The bell was packaged with extreme care, thank you. The temple bell exceeded our expectations, exactly as described and with a lovely sound. I was happy to pay the price as it was for a special birthday gift, the recipient is delighted with it. Bear in mind for delivery to the UK there will be a customs charge to pay ( it cost us £39). I was aware of this before placing the order, it mentions it on the listing. Thank you!
